The Tait Memorial Trust is delighted to announce a special London celebration marking the centenary of Dame Joan Sutherland’s birth.
Presented on Wednesday 28 October 2026, the evening will honour one of Australia’s greatest cultural figures and her enduring artistic legacy in the United Kingdom and internationally held in the sumptuous surroundings of the Exhibition Hall, Australian High Commission, London.
The celebration will also mark the forthcoming release of La Stupenda: Joan Sutherland, A Life in Pictures, a major new centenary publication from the Joan Sutherland and Richard Bonynge Foundation and Hardie Grant.
