Karelia Quartet: Notes to Savour

An evening of chamber music, wine, and flavour in one of London’s most unusual private venues.

The Tait Memorial Trust gratefully acknowledges the support of the Victorian Government Trade and Investment Office in London, whose generous contribution of Victorian wines helps make this evening possible.

The Karelia Quartet joins The Tait Memorial Trust for a specially curated performance at the extraordinary St Pancras Clock Tower. Music is paired with carefully selected wines and flavours inspired by the programme, creating an intimate and immersive concert experience high above St Pancras Station.

Formed at the Royal Academy of Music, the Karelia Quartet has rapidly established itself as one of the UK’s most exciting young chamber ensembles. Recent achievements include First Prize at the Nina Drucker String Quartet Competition and performances for His Majesty King Charles III at St James’s Palace.

The programme includes music by Ravel, Grieg, Grainger, and Miriam Hyde, with pairings inspired by Australia, France, and Scandinavia.

How to find the venue

The concert takes place inside the private St Pancras Clock Tower within the St Pancras Chambers Apartments complex.

Please note:
The concert is not located directly beneath the clock tower itself.

Guests are encouraged to arrive promptly due to building access arrangements.
